AIRD, in collaboration with SUZLON, continues its commitment to community development through initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized women in neighboring villages. The Revolving fund for livelihood support program provides financial assistance to women, enabling them to start or expand income-generating activities.

Women beneficiaries of donation

In Kumbilampadu, three women received financial support to initiate livelihood activities:

  1. Mrs. Murugalakshmi: ₹6,000 for implementing a drip irrigation system.

  2. Mrs. Punitha: ₹6,000 to establish a small hotel business.

  3. Mrs. Ponselvi: ₹6,000 for setting up a drip irrigation system.

In Kuttapuli, two women received financial aid for their respective ventures:

  1. Mrs. V. Elgina: ₹11,000 to start a small business in covering ornaments.

  2. Mrs. S. Pulin Pasal: ₹11,000 for launching a tailoring business.

Like in Kumbilampadu, this initiative was organized with the support of VDC members to ensure transparency and proper implementation.

The Revolving Fund for Livelihood Support program reflects AIRD and SUZLON’s dedication to fostering economic independence among women. By creating alternative sources of income, the program not only uplifts individual beneficiaries but also contributes to the overall development of their communities.
